Young Gun...

My youngest athlete, Fraser Lyon, is in fine form. He has recently finished 9th overall and 2nd Junior at the Tasmanian Sprint Distance Championships and 3rd overall and 1st Junior at the Tasmanian Super Sprint Championships. He is currently leading the Junior State Series Championships. Fraser is a hard worker and passionate about his sport. Top results are a just reward. Keep up the good work Fraser!

TA National Development Camp

Had the amazing opportunity to participate in the 2011 National Development Camp for the top 45 Juniors in Australia. Some fantastic kids with promising talent coming through the ranks. Great work from the Tasmanians Natalea Smith, Jono Butler, Lachy Barnes and Jake Birtwhistle!

CCTM Training Camp @ Binalong Bay

A great weekend thanks to the Lyon's family hosting us all at their shack. We trained hard, ate well and enjoyed good company. Hopefully it will become an annual tradition!

Congratulations Lee!

Congratulations to one of my athletes, Lee Taylor, who competed at the ITU World Long Distance Championships in Henderson, Nervanda, USA over the weekend.
The race was changed to a bike, run event after the swim was cancelled due to unsuitable swimming conditions. A challenging course and a top effort from Lee to finish 44th in the very competitive 40-44yr age group.
